Why HRTruths Exists

Why HRTruths Exists

There are many things people don’t say about work.

They don’t say them in exit interviews.
They don’t say them in policies.
They often don’t even say them out loud — not because they aren’t real, but because they’re hard to explain.

HRTruths exists for those moments.

This collection was created for people who have worked in difficult workplaces — and needed language, recognition, or quiet acknowledgement of what they experienced. Not everything harmful at work is obvious. Not everything is dramatic. Often, it’s subtle, cumulative, and difficult to name.

Policies can sound good on paper.
Cultures can look healthy from the outside.
But lived experience tells the real story.

HRTruths was not created as satire or novelty. It was created from lived experience — shaped by what happens when workplace harm is minimised, misunderstood, or quietly endured. The products are intentionally simple: cards, mugs, totes, and printed pieces that don’t demand explanation or performance.

They are not statements to broadcast.
They are companions to keep.

Some people discover HRTruths after leaving a workplace and finding clarity in hindsight. Others are still inside environments that feel confusing, draining, or unsafe. This collection exists for both — without judgment, pressure, or instruction.

If you recognise yourself here, you don’t need to justify it.
If the words resonate, that’s enough.

HRTruths is about honesty without spectacle.
Recognition without exposure.
And creating space for the realities of work that often go unspoken.

Corporate, but make it honest.
